Declan "Fabio" O'Brien Appointed Verona Senior Manager Role
Verona FC are delighted to announce that Declan “Fabio” O’ Brien will be taking over as Player-Manager for the coming season. Verona FC were the last club Declan played for before he embarked on a hugely successful career in the League of Ireland, the Irish League and the Maltese League. He captained Drogheda United to success in the Setanta Cup, the FAI Senior Cup and to the League title. He is their all time leading goal scorer. Verona FC avoided relegation on the last day of the season with an excellent performance away to Dublin Bus and they are hoping for better fortune next season. This is a new and exciting challenge for Fabio and all at Verona FC wish him well.
