Verona Fc are delighted to officially unveil league of Ireland legend Declan (Fabio) O’Brien as the new first team player manager. The club are privileged to secure such an elite figure to lead our senior squad into the new season with the added bonus of seeing the great man ply his trade in Verona colours once again.
**All new players are invited to attend the start of pre season training which begins this Thursday 13th at 7.30pm in Verona, Coolmine Park.
Declan was greeted by chairman Derek Clarke, senior committee member Kevin O’Hanlon and Joe Smith (far left) who shares the honour of owning an FAI cup winners medal with the new man in charge. Hopefully their success can inspire a successful season under new leadership. Everyone at Verona wishes Declan the very best of luck and we hope to see you all throughout the season to support the team.
