Storm Desmond died down and the skies cleared to allow Santa to fly into Coolmine Park and visit the lucky boys and girls from Verona's Fab (Pro) Academy. It was party time following the the final installment of the current widely acclaimed academy's calender. Grins from ear to ear, along with goodies and a special gift from Santa sent everybody home in joyful mood. It was a great way to end a great year for the academy and Verona in general. Santa also brought a special gift for Verona Football Club but you'll have to wait a little while longer to hear the full extent of the great news to come. Well done to all the boys and girls in the academy and a special thank you to Santa for making the journey. Enormous thanks must also go out to our Academy leader Declan (Fabio) O'Brien for overseeing the development of our young stars and Niall Brennan for organising a great day and great year of academy fun. The future of Verona is clearly in good hands!!
